Going into my fifth year studying Graphic Design at the University of Cincinnati, I am still loving every second of my time here. I've spent about 8 months over the last year living and working in Washington, DC, but I'm happy to be home now and ready to start my fifth year at UC.
A little more about me –– I was born in Cincinnati and have lived here my entire life, just like both of my parents. I have a younger brother, Ryan, and a dog that we treat like a brother, Frisco (@friscobeanpup on Instagram). When I'm away from home, I miss my family tremendously, but I miss my dog even more. I say that because I can always pick up the phone and call my family, but calling my dog is a little bit trickier. :) Being in design school means that most of my free time is spent sketching, taking photos, and finding inspiration for new and exciting projects. But if I'm not working on design, you can find me giving campus tours, baking, running, or spending time with my friends. Often, a mix of those few things. Over the last year, I've had great experiences in ROAR, SAC, and the UC Dance Marathon as an over involved (but happy about it) student. I still love giving tours and engaging with alumni, so I don't think I'll stop any time soon. I've learned a lot about personal organization and time management, but the most important piece is that as long as you are passionate about what you're doing, nothing will feel like a chore. Currently, I'm living in Cincinnati starting the summer semester of my last year of school. That means capstone, studios, searching for a new co-op, and finding time to spend with friends in between. Feel free to keep up with me here! |
